AI video chat characters — a writers' room, not a stage

Twelve on this page. The catalog behind the button holds 250+.

Every window here is fronted by an authored temperament: a register, a pace, a history, all of it written before you arrive. This page opens the character sheets.

Fictional AI characters only. Nobody here is a real person.

02The detail

What a character is, before you meet her

A persona here is a document before it is a face — and that order is why the conversations hold.

The AI video chat characters on this site start as writing: a temperament, a conversational pace, things she cares about, things she refuses to do. The still portrait is generated to fit the document, not the other way around. That inversion matters — a cam economy hires a face and hopes for chemistry, while an authored character is chemistry, fixed in text, reproducible at four in the morning when no human performer would take your call.

Consistency is the working difference. Ask a performer to stay in a register for three hours and you are asking for labour; ask a written character and you are describing her file. She dodges the way her sheet dodges, presses where it presses, and remembers the thread you built with her, because memory is part of the machinery and not a courtesy.

The roster below is a sample of twelve. The catalog behind any of their windows runs past 250 characters, written in registers from gentle to merciless — the range exists so the right file finds you, not so a counter looks big.

What works well

  • A written register cannot have an off night
  • Character depth is authored, so it survives long threads
  • Each persona's boundaries are part of her file, stated plainly
  • Twelve sampled here, 250+ in the catalog behind the button
  • Every character is written and rendered as an adult

Worth knowing first

  • Her portrait is a still — the acting happens in text
  • Fictional by design: nobody here is a real person
  • Some characters' deeper scenes sit behind labelled prices
  • Strictly 18+, age-gated before the roster loads

Three character sheets, face out

Portraits generated to fit their files — three different registers from the same shelf.

Fictional AI character in a black wrap top with wet hair against blurred night city lights

A colder file, face out: black wrap, wet hair, the city dropped out of focus behind her.

Fictional AI character with long pink hair in a white top at a colourfully lit desk

A warmer sheet from the same shelf — pink hair at a lit-up desk, mid-sentence energy.

Fictional AI character in a royal-blue tank top, level gaze, in a dim concrete room

The severe end of the range: royal blue, level gaze, a file that does not blink first.

04In practice

Meeting a file in the wild

You notice the authorship about three exchanges in. She has opinions that predate you; she circles back to them; she has a way of ending messages that stays hers. Push against the register and it pushes back in character — not with a refusal template, but the way that particular file argues. It reads less like software imitating a person and more like fiction that answers.

And because the characters are openly fictional, the usual worry inverts: nothing is being faked at you. The label is the honesty. What is real is the writing, the memory, and the fact that the window opened for you alone — which is everything the stage next door could not sell.

05Quick answers

The characters — quick answers

01

Who writes the AI video chat characters?

Each persona is authored as a document — temperament, pace, history, boundaries — and the portrait is generated to match it. The text engine performs that file in every reply, which is why her voice holds across weeks of conversation.
02

Are any of the characters based on real people?

No. Every character is fictional, every portrait is generated, and all of them are written and rendered as adults — the youngest on this page is 22. Any resemblance to a real person is coincidental, and the service is strictly 18+.
03

How many characters are there beyond the twelve shown?

The catalog behind the button holds more than 250 characters — that figure is counted from the catalog listing, not estimated. The twelve on this page are a sample chosen for range, from soft to severe.
04

Can a character change register mid-thread?

Within her file, yes — you can ask for softer, drier or bolder and the next message already fits. What she will not do is abandon the file entirely or pretend to be a real person; those lines sit above every character on the shelf.
